Within the scope of the cycle of contemporary art exhibitions "Perceções do Sagrado", in 2010, the artist Luis Nobre created his own works "in a creative and daring way", according to the museum director, Teresa Morna. Side by side with the sacred and the classical, Nobre develops contemporary works, which converse with the pieces in the permanent exhibition of the museum. Through different languages ranging from bronze sculpture to video, not neglecting drawing and painting, we try to illustrate a connection between the contemporary ways of seeing art and the centuries-old perception of beauty, building bridges between them instead of deepening the differences.
